Alexandra Eames
Carolyn Barek
Megan Wheeler
Nicole Wallace

This journal is for RP/ficlet purposes only. The characters belong to Dick Wolf and NBC Universal. No copyright infringement is intended as this is all in good fun. The writer is full aware that there are other versions of these muses at
realmof_themuse as well as other communities and the writing/RP in this journal is not affiliated with any other versions. Unless otherwise specified, all references to canon characters relating to these four characters are made in the "general" sense and are not meant to refer to any one muse from any one community.

BACKGROUND:
All four women written about/RPed in this journal are, or have at one time been, affiliated with the NYPD's Major Case Squad.
Alex Eames is a detective first grade who tends to be more well-known for her quirky partner, Detective Bobby Goren, than she is for her own police work. That aside, Eames is the senior partner who often has to look out for Goren. She is a very skilled investigator with a penchant for sarcasm. She hails from a family of career cops and was married to a fellow officer who was killed eight years ago in the line of duty.
Carolyn Barek is a former detective first grade who worked with the Major Case Squad for a year from 2005-2006. After 9/11, her profiling skills were put to work when she was loaned to the FBI's Terrorism Taskforce. She got used to working alone, which made for a rough transition to Major Case and having the not-always-easy-to-work-with Mike Logan as her partner. After a year, Barek left the high-pressure squad to return to the FBI, this time as an actual agent.
Megan Wheeler is a detective second grade brought to Major Case with the promotion of Captain Danny Ross to CO of the squad. Before this, she worked on an international money laundering taskforce with Ross at the helm. She is Mike Logan's current partner and he has become something of a mentor to her in the nearly two years that they have been paired up (though Ross might argue that Logan's more of a "bad influence" than mentor). She briefly left MCS to help teach American police procedure in Europe, but has since returned. Wheeler is curious and much more interested in the "why" aspect of crimes than her partner, who usually just wants to know the "who".
Nicole Wallace is a con artist and a thief but more importantly, a sociopath and serial killer who has eluded the detectives of Major Case for over six years. She is Australian by birth and has used several aliases, including Elizabeth Hitchens and Elizabeth Haynes. To date, she has nineteen known murders to her credit.
